Why solar.

The customer wanted sustainable lighting on their premises to save money, time and the planet. Solar lights require no wiring or power other than natural resources provided by the sun.

Solar floodlights have solar panels charged by photovoltaic energy from the sunlight and preserves energy for later use. They are super-bright with zero running costs. Installation is done anywhere in the reach of the sun at 45-degree angle and professional services are not mandatory as power mains access is not needed. The LED lamp in the solar floodlights consumes less energy and have low-maintenance costs.

Why they needed the Tempus.

Due to keeping valuable assets and materials on their land, the client required lighting for security and convenience purposes within their premises. As the early dark nights drew in around October, they required accessible and reliable light available on their premises. With them having a forklift, this allowed them to easily transport the light to wherever it was needed at the time. Our Tempus Luminaire offers light when motion happens within 8 metres of the column to ward off any potential criminal activity.

The TEMPUS offered them a flexible option to dirty diesel-generator lighting, with a silent, clean, carbon-neutral operation that requires no maintenance once installed.
